Britrail 1st ClassRod Leschasin ,Canada![]() This is from my trip in April & May, 2012.I really appreciated the network & convenient times. Travel was quite comfortable and the staff were very helpful & pleasant. Only quibble: breakfast offered was "hit and miss". London to Newcastle: full breakfast menu. Newcastle to Salisbury: only a bacon roll with beverages.
Salisbury to Gatwick Airport: nothing except coffee, when I really needed a breakfast
Thank you,
Rod Leschasin |
Would do it againPhil Robbie ,Canada![]() My daughter and I travelled from London to Bath, Exeter, Barnstaple and then to York, Harrowgate and finally to Edinburgh, Bathgate, and Glasgow. All of it was a good experience except the ride where we had to sit on the floor. We discovered that we should have made reservations for that particular train. We didn't make that mistake twice. The pass was very useful but it didn't offer us the exact setup that we needed. The pass was for a certain number of days within 2 months but we needed just one more day. The bump up to the next category made it too expensive compared to booking individual trains. A pass with a choice of number of days would be useful.

No ProblemsBert Scholz ,Germany![]() I have bought an ACP Rail Pass last for autumn 2012; shipping fee was a litle bit nasty, but delivery, activcation in the country and travelling was no problem, just like a regular ticket you always carry with you. |
RecommendationDaniel ,Germany![]() I personally recommend this perfect opportunity to travel the country in a flexible way, which perfectly fits the needs of a casual holiday traveler!

No refund!!!Charles McGill ,British ColumbiaJanuary 16, 2013 I purchased a 4 day Brit rail pass to visit family in England for the Christmas Holidays. I only had a Short trip and had planned the 4 days around Christmas Day. Well the trains were not working on one of my planned days and therefore was only able to use 3 of the 4 travel days. On return, I telephoned the Office with the information above asking for some sort of renumeration/or a I am sorry to hear that response. But , all I got was "No refund!!!" Say no more.
