Ausrail Pass Backpacker GuideTim Makins ,UKAge: 50-59February 11, 2013
I had a great time travelling the Long Distance trains of Australia with an Ausrail Pass bought from ACP Rail International. I ordered online, had it sent to an address in Oz, and exchanged it for the real pass in Sydney's Central Station - all worked well, and the pass is really excellent value. With plenty of time on my multiple trips on the Great Southern Rail trains, I wrote a 12 page article with 70 photos aimed specifically at Backpackers and Budget Travellers wanting to ride the Red Calls carriages in Australia. best way to see AustraliaJulian ,CanadaAge: 25-29January 25, 2013
Rail service in Australia might not be as convenient or frequent as in Europe, but the comfort and views offered by the long-haul Great Southern trains, along with the value compared to flying, make it by far the best way to travel. I got great use out of my AusRail pass and wouldn't hesitate to buy another if I ever found myself back in Aus for another long trip.

Convenient way to travel! Ordered my pass with priority shipping and got it within 5 days. Also very much appreciated the fact that for most places you visit that do not have their own train station (e.g. Hervey Bay, Airlie Beach), coaches from a nearby station are included in your train pass and you do not have to pay extra fees. Would definitely order it again if I come back to OZ!
