Off-peak tickets offer some flexibility, allowing you to travel aboard any train operating during off-peak hours on your ticket date. Though peak times may vary, they are typically before 9:30am and between 4:00pm and 7:00pm.

Standard Class

Standard class railcars provide comfortable, quality seating. Passengers have the option of reserving a specific seat on the train when booking their ticket. Also, priority seating is readily accessible for the elderly and disabled travelers in all railcars.

First Class

Seat reservations

In most cases, a ‘Ticket on Departure & Reservation’ e-ticket will include a seat reservation. Exceptions where the seat may not be reserved at the time of booking include shorter journeys that don’t offer seat reservations or when the allocation of reservable seats is fully booked. In either case, your ticket is still valid and you can sit in any vacant seat.

Ticket Purchase Conditions and Delivery

E-tickets for travel from Newcastle to London by train may be booked up to 3 months in advance. Refunds and exchanges are not permitted.
