ScotRail Passes can be purchased by anyone including residents of the UK.
After purchase you’ll receive an email with a link to activate your M-Pass and select your travel dates. An email will come from us (sender: no_reply@acprail.com).
Your travel dates must be:
● UK residents: within three months of the purchase date
● International visitors: within 11 months of the purchase date
Activate your pass when your travel dates are confirmed. You cannot make changes or get a refund after activation.

Travel is valid any time on Inverness – Kyle of Lochalsh and Glasgow – Mallaig services.
Travel is valid Monday to Friday on trains departing Glasgow – Edinburgh or Edinburgh – Inverness, via Perth after 0915 and on any service on the weekend.
Please note that certain routes may be affected during winter operations:
Direct public bus services on Skye connecting Kyle of Lochalsh Train Station with Armadale Ferry Terminal are suspended. Bus connections are available but are limited, will take longer and may require a stopover.
Please check your onward travel connections before purchasing and travelling. Latest timetables are available at www.stagecoachbus.com (bus).

Before you travel, download this M-Pass directly to your mobile phone.
You will need to show the M-Pass on your phone to station and on-train staff on request. Printouts are not accepted. You must also show a valid photo ID.”
A seat reservation is optional but recommended in order to guarantee a seat on a specific train and time. Reservations can be made up to 12 weeks in advance. Reserve a seat.
