Hokuriku Arch Pass

The pass can be used for unlimited rides within the pass area in Ordinary Class cars with reserved seating for:

Anyone who possesses a passport issued by a country other than Japan and enters Japan with the status of Temporary Visitor.

3 Months

7 consecutive days

From the date of purchase, the pass voucher must be exchanged in Japan within 3 months. On the date of exchange in Japan, the user will need to select a start date within 1 month from that date. The user then has 7 consecutive days to use their pass as of the start date.

Unlimited rides within the pass area on ordinary car reserved seating on local (including special rapid and rapid), express, and limited express trains on all lines of the Hokuetsu Shinkansen (between Tokyo and Kanazawa stations), JR East, JR West, Tokyo Monorail, and Noto Tetsudo (between Nanao and Wakuraonsen stations).

Notes:

• The pass can also be used for ordinary car reserved seating on the Haruka limited express train.
• The pass can also be used on the Ainokaze Toyama Railway (between Toyama and Takaoka stations) and IR Ishikawa Railway (between Kanazawa and Tsubata stations) trains only if used for passing through. (an additional charge is application if you wish to use the Ainokaze Liner rapid train).

How to Exchange your E-ticket
HOKURIKU ARCH PASS has to be collected at one of the exchange offices in Japan within 3 months from the travel date in the PNR. Passenger will need to have a valid paper or e-ticket, a valid passport with the entry status of “Temporary Visitor”. See the Exchange locations on the Hokuriku Arch Pass Website.
