With a Queensland Explorer Pass travel on the Tilt Train, The Sunlander, Spirit of the Outback, The Westlander and The Inlander, all while visiting stops from Cairns in the north, to Brisbane in the south. - The Queensland Explorer Pass is only available to non-Australian passport holders.

- Travel must commence and the pass validated within 6 months of the date of purchase.

Infants under the age of 4, who sit on an adult’s lap and do not occupy a seat, travel for free. A maximum of one infant may share a seat free of charge. Should the infant occupy a seat, the applicable fare is to be charged.
Types & Validities
- Allows unlimited travel over a 3 or 6 month period, which starts on the day the pass is validated (first day of actual travel).
- The Queensland Explorer Pass is valid for unlimited travel in economy seating.
Additional Details
- You will receive an exchange voucher which, upon presentation at a Travel Centre or Ticket Office exchange location in Australia and prior to commencing your first journey, you will be given your actual travel pass.
- Seat reservations must be made in advance as the pass itself does not guarantee a seat. A reservation for each individual sector of travel is necessary to obtain a valid travel ticket.
- The pass holder may upgrade to travel in first class, business class or Red Premium Service seats and sleeping berths on payment of the applicable upgrade amount.
