BRITRAIL CONSECUTIVE PASS AND BRITRAIL FLEXIPASS

BritRail Passes allow unlimited travel in England, Scotland and Wales on any scheduled train over the whole of Great Britain’s National Rail network during the validity of the Pass without restrictions. Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express and Stansted Express are also included.

Please note that in Europe these Passes are reffered to as the BritRail Euro Consecutive Pass and BritRail Euro FlexiPass. See info bellow.

BritRail Consecutive Pass is valid for travel on a set number of consecutive days. Passes are available for 4, 8, 15, 22 days or 1 month.

BritRail FlexiPass permits the holder to choose the travel days within the period of validity. Passes are available for 4 days travel in 2 months, 8 days travel in 2 months or 15 days travel in 2 months.

Senior and Youth Discounts: To simplify pricing, the following Passes will have a flat percentage discount off the Adult fares (Only on Retail Fares):

One child, age 5-15, travels FREE when an Adult or Senior Pass is purchased. Pass must be of the same type and duration. BritRail Family Pass is available with the following products:

Other Notes

The 3rd to 9th passengers in a Party receive a 50% discount on their BritRail Passes. All passengers must travel together at all times. Valid on Adult fares with these passes:

Ferry service can now be purchased separately – See the new ‘BritRail Irish Sea Crossing’ product.

Children: Children (5-15) pay half the adult fare. Children under 5 travel free and do not need a ticket.

Ideal for: Independent travellers visiting both Great Britain and Ireland.

BRITRAIL LONDON PLUS PASS

Unlimited rail travel in the south east of England, including Oxford, Cambridge & Brighton and now Bristol, Bath and Stratford-Upon-Avon!.

  • Voucher must accompany the corresponding BritRail London Plus Pass.
  • Some commuter services do not have First Class, this has been allowed for in the price.

BRITRAIL PASS + EUROSTAR

Removed from ACP RailNet. However, you can order it from the ACP Rail International Call Center (USA and Canada only) by calling 1-866-BRITRAIL.

Combine, this pass gives the opportunity to add Paris or Brussels as a destination to the BritRail Pass. It is valid for 3 days within a 2-month period & a confirmed Eurostar journey.

Other Notes

  • Eurostar must be reserved at time of purchase and cannot be an open ticket. Once booked, Eurostar becomes non refundable. Eurostar journey is on a request basis and in some cases a second choice should be given should the first choice not be available.


BRITRAIL POINT TO POINT TICKETS

Valid for travel between two selected stations. There are no restrictions as to day, time, or train. Stopovers en route ARE allowed.

Children: Age 5 to 15 pay half the adult fare. Children under 5 travel free and do not need a ticket.

Youth (16-25) and Senior (60+) (Only available for Outlets selling in EURO): 20% off the adult fare, in First class only.

Notes

  • Reservations are not compulsory but are recommended. They can be made when booking (normally available 2 months in advance of travel) or at stations in Britain.
  • Group rates available on request.
  • Discounts for Round Trip tickets apply.
  • Point to Point Tickets must be validated within 6 months of issuing date. Once they are validated, they are valid for 2 months from that date.

Ideal for: Those who are not touring but have a specific journey to make, specifically the business traveller.

FAQ

    Why buy in advance?
  • These tickets are intended for overseas visitors, they carry no restrictions as to time, day or availability.
  • You can travel on any train on the route in question.
  • You can stop-off as often as you wish in the direction of travel. (On a London/Edinburgh BritRail Open Single, you could stop at York, Durham and Newcastle.)

    Are cheaper tickets available in the UK?

  • Sometimes, however, they are usually date, train/time restricted, non-changeable, subject to penalties, etc.
  • Many are valid only on certain train operating company services.
  • Yes, it is very complex.
  • Many routes require advance local purchase.


BRITRAIL SCOTTISH FREEDOM PASS

The Freedom of Scotland Travelpass is a great way to roam across Scotland by train, coach and ferry - all with just one ticket. Most of the services covered are included in your price, while some others offer a substantial discount.Your Travelpass ticket includes : 

Rail travel

  1. Valid on all scheduled daytime passenger trains for journeys wholly within Scotland, including GNER and Virgin trains to/from Carlisle and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Please note that travelpass tickets cannot be used to travel before 0915 Mondays to Fridays, except between Glasgow-Oban/Fort William/Mallaig and Inverness-Kyle/Wick/Thurso. 

Coach travel

  1. Scottish Citylink bus travel between Oban/Fort William and Inverness; Kyle of Lochalsh - Uig; Inverness - Ullapool; Oban - Campbeltown; and Wick - Thurso. 
  2. Stagecoach in Fife services between Dundee and Leuchars / St. Andrews.  
  3. Inclusive bus travel on the Isle of Mull with Bowmans Coaches.

City centre bus tours

£1 discount off adult and concession prices on Edinburgh Bus Tour, and City Sightseeing tours in Glasgow, Perth and Stirling.

Conditions

  1. Not valid on special excursion trains, or privately owned railways.  
  2. Tickets are for Standard Class travel only and may not be upgraded to First Class travel, except on First ScotRail Weekend First trains.  
  3. Travel on First ScotRail’s Caledonian Sleepers is not included. Sleeper tickets must be purchased separately.  
  4. Cycles can be carried on First ScotRail trains subject to space being available.


GATWICK EXPRESS

Travel non-stop between Gatwick Airport and London Victoria. There are no restrictions as to time, day or train.

Other Notes

  • Gatwick Express is the fastest way to travel from Gatwick Airport to central London - the 27 miles are covered in just 30 minutes.
  • Trains leave every 15 minutes from London Victoria and Gatwick Airport throughout the day and evening.
  • Gatwick Airport Station is actually part of Gatwick Airport. There are no long corridors to walk through and it is nearer than the buses and taxis.

Children: Age 5-15 pay half the adult fare. Children under 5 travel free and do not need a ticket.

Ideal for: All airport travellers going to London. London Victoria offers a variety of Underground and mainline rail connections, local and long distance buses and of course, easy access to taxis.


HEATHROW EXPRESS

Travel non-stop between Heathrow Airport and London Paddington. There are no restrictions as to time, day or train.

Other Notes

  • The quickest way from Heathrow Airport to central London!
  • Trains depart every 15 minutes and the journey takes just 15 minutes.
  • Heathrow Express services all four terminals at Heathrow Airport with one station for Terminals 1, 2, and 3 and a separate one for Terminal 4.

Children: Age 5-15 pay half the adult fare. Children under 5 travel free and do not need a ticket.

Ideal for: All airport travellers going to London. Paddington Station offers a variety of Underground and mainline rail connections, local and long distance buses and of course, easy access to taxis.


STANSTED EXPRESS

Travel non-stop between London Liverpool St and London Stansted Airport There are no restrictions as to time, day or train.

NEW!

  • The 00.30 from Stansted to Liverpool Street will now run 7 days a week (not just on 3 days)
  • A NEW Stansted to Liverpool Street 01.00 and 01.30 on Thurs (Fri morning), Fri (Sat morning) and Sun (Mon morning).
  • A NEW 03.40 from Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport on a Monday and we are bringing forward our first train to the airport on all other days by 15-20 minutes.

Other Notes

  • Stansted Express trains take you directly from the Airport to London Liverpool Street Station in 42 minutes.
  • Stansted Airport is also the starting point for a regular service that takes you cross country through Cambridge, Peterborough (for connections to York and Edinburgh), to Birmingham, Liverpool or Manchester.

Ideal for: Direct travel to the City of London (business district around Liverpool Street or London's West End (change at Tottenham Hale onto the Victoria line underground line.


Manchester Airport Transfer

Travel non-stop the short journey between Manchester Airport and Central Manchester. Direct trains are also available to Liverpool, Leeds, York, Blackpool, Windermere and Newcastle. Details and prices available upon request.

Children: Age 5-15 pay half the adult fare. Children under 5 travel free and do not need a ticket.

Ideal for: Direct travel to the City of Manchester and direct onwards to many other North West and North East England destinations.


CALEDONIAN SLEEPERS

Validity
The York Pass is valid for 1,2 or 3 days and is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

Ticketing
The Railnet ticket is a voucher which can be redeemed at the York Tourism bureau. One bureau is located at the rail station and the other in the city centre. On presentation of the voucher, customers will receive the official York Pass, plus a guide book to all the attractions covered with the pass.

Refunds
The York Pass is subject to ACP Rail International's standard conditions of refund.


IRISH THRU FARES

This includes trains to/from London, Birmingham, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield from/to Dublin, Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire. A voucher for Irish Ferries or Stena Line is also included with the train ticket to cover the ferry part of the journey.

Quai de Solférino, 7th arrondissement: leaving Musée d'Orsay, cross the street along the quays and go down the steps to the river bank.

4- Louvre
Quai du Louvre, Paris 1st arrondissement. Go from the pyramid forming the entry to the Louvre towards the quays and then turn right without crossing Pont du Carrousel. Walk for 100 metres along the quay and go down the steps to the river.

5- St-Germain-des-Près
Quai de Malaquais, 6th arrondissement: take rue Bonaparte from Saint-Germain's Church.When you reach the quay, cross the road and go down the steps to the bank.

6- Notre-Dame
Quai de Montebello, Paris 5th arrondissement: go upstream along the quays for about a hundred metres from the Pont au Double, and take the stairs down to the river.

7- Hôtel de Ville
Quai de l'Hôtel de Ville, Paris 4th arrondissement. In Place de l'Hôtel de Ville take the pedestrian underpass to Quai de l'Hôtel de Ville, walk upstream along the quay for 100 metres. The stop is on the right in the square.

8- Jardin des Plantes
Quai Saint-Bernard, Paris 5th arrondissement. Take rue des Fossés-Saint-Bernard towards the Seine, cross Quai Saint-Bernard in front of the Institut du Monde Arabe and go down to the river by the ramp or the stairs. Then walk upstream (towards Pont d'Austerlitz) through the open-air sculpture garden (Jardin Tino Rossi). The Batobus puts in between Pont Sully and Pont d'Austerlitz.

Also known as the Visiting Friends and Relatives Pass, this promotion allows customers purchasing a select BritRail pass to add-on a friend or relative from the UK for 25% off the regular pass price on both passes. Guest must travel with the BritRail pass holder at all times.

The Guest Passes are offered for:

  • BritRail Consecutive & Flexi Passes
  • BritRail Euro Consecutive & Euro Flexi Passes
  • BritRail England Consecutive & England Flexi Passes
  • BritRail Euro England Consecutive & Euro England Flexi Passes
The discount is 25% off each pass (Uk Guest and International Traveler) in First and Standard classes. It is only valid on Regular prices. The UK Passenger must be a UK Resident travelling with the passholder at all times.
