- Australia’s CountryLink and Queensland Rail trains: The Sunlander, Tilt Train, Spirit of the Outback, The Westlander, The Inlander, XPT and XPLORER.
Eligibility
- The Aus Reef and Beach Pass is only available to non-Australian passport holders.
Pre-booking time
- Travel must commence and the pass validated within 6 months of the date of purchase.

- Infants under the age of 4
Infants under the age of 4, who sit on an adult’s lap and do not occupy a seat, travel for free. A maximum of one infant may share a seat free of charge. Should the infant occupy a seat, the applicable fare is to be charged.
Types & Validities
- Allows unlimited travel over a 3 or 6 month period, which starts on the day the pass is validated (first day of actual travel).
- The Aus Reef and Beach Pass is valid for unlimited travel in economy seating
Additional Details
- You will receive an exchange voucher which, upon presentation at a Travel Centre or Ticket Office exchange location in Australia and prior to commencing your first journey, you will be given your actual travel pass.
- Seat reservations must be made in advance as the pass itself does not guarantee a seat. A reservation for each individual sector of travel is necessary to obtain a valid travel ticket.
- The pass holder may upgrade to travel in first class, business class or Red Premium Service seats and sleeping berths on payment of the applicable upgrade amount.
- A surcharge applies for travel on the Cairns Tilt Train.
- The pass is not available for travel on any Queensland City Trains, The Savannahlander, The Gulflander, the Kuranda Scenic Railway, Sydney CityRail, the Melbourne Met and Victoria's V-Line.
