SLEEPER COMPARTMENT BOOKING CLASSES INFO

For travel in all 3-berth (T3) r a 4-berth sleepers (T4) only 2nd class tickets are needed.

For travel in a single 1-berth sleeper a 1st class ticket is needed, with one exception Norway, where 2nd class tickets are enough (as there is no 1st class any more in Norway).

But the tricky one is the 2-berth sleepers (Double) . In most countries a 2nd class ticket is enough:

• Belgium
• Bulgary (for domli>estic Bulgarian sleepers 1st class tickets are needed)
• Denmark in traffic with Belgium, Germany, Switserland and Austria)
• Finland (with the exception of the night trains to Russia where 1st class tickets are needed)
• Greece ((for domestic Greek sleepers 1st class tickets are needed)
• Italy (except the night trains to France and domestic Italian sleepers where 1st class tickets are needed)
• Croatia
• The Netherlands
• Norway
• Poland
• Portugal
• Rumania (for domestic Rumanian sleepers 1st class tickets are needed)
• Switerland
• Slowakia (for domestic Slowakian sleepers 1st class tickets are needed)
• Slovenia
• Great Britain
• Sweden
• The Czech Republic (for domestic Czech sleepers 1st class tickets are needed)
• Turkey
• Germany

In the rest of the countries 1st class tickets are needed for a 2-berth (Double) sleeper:
