In general, there are two different night trains in Norway:
- One category contains seats, couchettes, singles, doubles and 3-bed compartments, both old and new carriages.
- The other category is a new, refurbished train, containing seats, sleeperettes, singles and doubles.
There are special services available on the Dovre and the Northern lines, with a dining car serving light meals and where a bar serving draught beer awaits you. Compartments with a private shower/WC are available on all night trains within Norway.
For travelers in double or single compartments a Norwegian breakfast buffet is included, which can be enjoyed in the bistro car or at the station upon arrival.
Buffet tickets may also be bought from the conductor.
On the other trains A breakfast box, including coffee or tea, will be provided by the train staff on other trains.
The main principle of our luggage service is that every passenger looks after their own hand luggage on the train.
Suitcases, bags and rucksacks of a total weight of up to 30kg are regarded as hand luggage. Your luggage should be placed by your seat or in one of the luggage racks.
Luggage can be sent from hotel to hotel or from station to station. For more information, send an e-mail to porter@exe.no and for further information call + 47 815 00 888
