BritRail FlexiPass

The ultimate way to explore the rolling hills, the vast culture and the historic attractions of this beautiful land are yours with the comprehensive BritRail FlexiPass. Enjoy the freedom to travel when you want for a select number of days over a 2-month period with this comprehensive Pass. Travel at leisure around the country and stay for a day, or more, in places that you like especially.

Features:

Ø      Unlimited travel throughout England, Wales and Scotland on the national rail network of Britain from morning until night.

Ø      BritRail offers exceptional discounts to small groups travelling together, low season travelling, seniors over 60, families and young travellers under 26 - See below for details!

Ø      Available in either First or Standard Class.

Ø      Get access to the Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted Express trains - the quickest way from London's airports to central London.

Ø      Allows you to explore by hopping on and off the trains as you wish.

Ø      These Passes are not available to buy in the UK nor available to residents of the UK- they are designed specifically for International guests to the UK.


Eligibility:

BritRail Euro Passes are designed for sale overseas by tour operators and travel agencies to persons having their permanent residence outside UK.

 

Validity:

Pass must be validated within 6 months of the date of purchase.

BritRail Euro FlexiPass permits the holder to choose the travel days within the period of validity. Passes are available for 2, 3, 4, 8, 15 days travel in 1 months.

BritRail Euro Consecutive Pass is valid for travel on a set number of consecutive days. Passes are available for 2, 4, 8, 15, 22 days or 1 month.

 

Discounts:

BritRail Guest Pass Discount
This promotion allows a friend or relative, residing in Britain, to accompany you as you travel by train in Britain. Available in 1st or Standard Class, UK guest and traveler get 25% off each. The UK guest passenger must travel with the Pass holder at all times and provide proof of residence upon request.  

BritRail Party Discount
Small groups travelling together can receive 50% off the 3rd through 9th Passengers. Available only with a Pass of the same type and duration. The BritRail Party Discount is available in both 1st and Standard Class. Please note the party must travel together at all times.

BritRail Family Discount
Purchase any select adult or senior BritRail Pass and one accompanying child (age 5 to 15) receives a Pass of the same type and duration for free. For additional children, the price is 50% off the adult fare. The BritRail Family Discount is available in both 1st and Standard Class.

BritRail Low Season Discount
Travel between January 1st and February 28th and November 1st and December 31st 2007 and receive 20% off the regular Pass price.

BritRail Youth Discount
Youths between the ages of 16 and 25 (inclusive) are eligible for a 20% discount in both 1st and Standard Class.

BritRail Discount for EuroStar

Travelers with any BritRail Pass are eligible to a reduced rate when traveling on EuroStar trains. Simply show the BritRail Pass when purchasing a EuroStar ticket to profit from this amazing offer! (Does not use up a travel day on the pass)

BritRail Senior Discount
Seniors 60 and over receive a 15% discount in First Class.

Please note that discounts cannot be coupled with other discounts, only one discount per pass.

 

Note: Some trains in Great Britain do not have 1st class accommodations. The price of the 1st class Passes have been adjusted to reflect this.

 

Conditions of used:

REFUNDS:

1. Refunds are limited to completely unused and unvalidated passes, tickets, and inclusive packages, and will be granted only where permitted under the terms and conditions set forth below or elsewhere in published documentation.  Passes, tickets and vouchers must be returned for refunds. No refunds will be granted on partially unused parts or inclusive packages; documents must bear no evidence of having been tampered with in any way. 2. Where no other time for refund is specified in this brochure, refunds on tickets and passes must be applied for within six months of the issue date. 3. A cancellation charge will be deducted from all refunds. Where no other cancellation charges are specified in this brochure, the cancellation charge will be a minimum of 15%. 4. No refunds will be given on reservation/booking fees. 5. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. 6. All requests for refunds must be submitted to the office from which the passes or tickets were purchased.

FEES AND CHARGES:

Reservation fees guarantee space on a particular service, but not always a specific seat assignment.

LOST TICKETS:

BritRail is not responsible for tickets or vouchers, which are lost, stolen, mutilated or destroyed. Refunds cannot be authorized in such cases. Therefore, travel insurance is recommended.

BritRail Passes are not valid on Eurostar services between London and Brussels or Paris, London Transport Underground trains or buses, on special excursions, on ships or other Channel ferries, or on coach services. BritRail Passes are not valid on trains in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland or any other transport service not mentioned here.
