There are no return fares for Sweden Rail. All tickets are sold as one way tickets.
To sell SJ one way tickets, use One way tickets including reservations.
SJ train tickets always include reservations. Even if the customer already has a pre purchased ticket,
the reservation on a special train is sold as in One way tickets including reservations. in JOURNEY, choose "Ticket&Reservation" and from DISCOUNT menu choose either "Sweden Rail pass" or "Scanrail pass" options.
Sleeper trains are sold as global price tickets like all other Swedish tickets.
Use One way tickets including reservation. Select Sleeper or Couchette options.
Start by searching for a relevant connection. Book the required number of seats/beds or couchettes. For doing so, you have to choose a price level, number of pax and “reservation only”. Store the PNR: The reservations will be in the system until 10 days prior to departure.
You will be able to book Wheel Chair seats on SJ trains. Please note that these seats are only offered in standard class. When choosing "Standard SJ/CX" option in FARE TYPE menu, you will see in "Special requests (Sweden only)" menu the option "Wheelchair seat" appearing.
Each seat will generate one row in the order. This gives you the possibility to change the number of participants if needed. Store the order.
Note that you can have 49 items/rows per each order at the most.
Once you are ready to issue the tickets, add on the actual group ticket to the original order.
If you want to use the reduced group fare, choose the number of passengers, price level, “ticket only” and do not forget to mark “group fare”.
If you want to issue a ticket with the ITX price enter “ticket only, number of pax, price level and the special offer ITX”.
10 paying customers (2 children/paying customer are free – see product information for SJ) get a reduction from the normal fare when traveling together.
You can book 36 seats, 16 beds in 2-bed compartments, 24 beds in 3-bed compartments, 36 couchettes in one transaction. If the group is bigger, you have to split it.
Note that the reservations will be cancelled 10 days prior to departure if not charged and issued.
If you book a group later than 10 days prior to departure, the ordinary cancellation rule, which is 4 days from the date of booking, applies. That means that you have to issue the ticket within 4 days at the latest. Do check the booking information in the left hand corner of the current order screen.
