ACPRailNet passwords have a validity of 60 days. After this period the passwords have to be changed. When a password is expired, the system will send an advisory message:
You need to change password (80012).
To change your password, follow the steps below:
- On ACP RailNet home page, enter
your User name and current Password
- Click on “Change”
- Enter the new password.
- Confirm the change.
- Login with the new password.
Password policy has changed!
The new protocol is as follows:
- Password must be:
6,7 or 8 characters long
- Password must consist of BOTH:
letters AND numbers, example:
1aaaaa
2b44ccc
g33555tt
123c456
- Password changes every 60 days, as previously
- System remembers 13 passwords back until you can use same one again
If your choice is not accepted by the system you will get the following message:
Invalid new password (80016)
The following error message will be shown when a wrong user name or password are entered when attempting to login or to change password.
Wrong username or password (80008).
If the agent fails to change the password or to login 3 consecutive times, then the user will be automatically locked out and the following message will appear on the screen:
Username is currently locked out (80028).
