Geneva-Med TGV offers high-speed train services from Geneva to the French Mediterranean destinations such as Avignon, Marseille, Montpellier, Nimes and Nice.

ุ      Fares available: Adult, Child, Youth, Senior Pass Holder, Wheel Chair, Wheel Chair companion, Group Adult (10 passenger minimum) and Group Child (10 passenger minimum all under 12 years of age).

Eligibility:

Available only to residents of Canada, US and Mexico in USD or CAD dollars.

 

Validity:

While discounted fares are offered to holders of certain passes the client still needs to buy a Geneva-Med TGV ticket.

For passholder fares: pass needs to be validated prior to boarding Geneva-Med TGV. The class of service for the Geneva-Med TGV ticket must match the class of service on the Railpass.

 

Discounts:

Child Discount
Children under the age of 12 pay a reduced rate. Children under 4, who do not require a seat, are free.

 

Youth Discount
Youths under 26 years of age pay a reduced rate.

 

Senior Discount

Seniors over 60 years of age pay a reduced rate.

 

Pass Holder Discount

The following pass holders pas a reduced rate:

Pass 1 Valid for travelers carrying a Eurail Global Pass/ (covering the whole journey)/ Eurail Select Pass (incl. France and Switzerland) and Eurail France - Switzerland Pass.

 

Pass 2 Valid for travelers carrying a France Railpass/ Eurail Select Pass (incl. France) / Eurail France - Italy Pass, Eurail France - Spain Pass.

 

Pass 3 Valid for travelers carrying a Swiss Pass/ Swiss Flexipass/ Swiss Saverpasses/ Swiss Youth Pass/ Eurail Select Pass (incl. Switzerland), Eurail Austria - Switzerland.

 

Wheel Chair Discount

Individuals in wheel chairs and their companions pay a reduced rate.

 

Group Discount

Groups of 10 passenger minimum pay a reduced rate.

 

 

Conditions of used:

REFUNDS:

Special cancellation fees apply to certain fares. Exchange and refund policies vary depending on the type of fare purchased.

Refunds, when applicable, can only be performed in North America up to 60 days after the train’s departure date if the ticket is returned unused.

Exchange can be performed to exchange a ticket, a new ticket must be issued and the unused one sent back to ACP Rail for a refund within the time frame allowed for such refund. A 20% handling fee may apply. The refund granted on the returned ticket depends on the refund policy of that particular fare.

When requesting an exchange in North America, make sure client allows enough time for the new ticket to be sent before his/her departure to Europe.

Exchange can be performed for select fare types locally in France for Individuals.

Exchange can only be performed in the US for Groups.

Processing fee, outlet commission and shipping fees are not refundable.

LOST TICKETS:

There is no refund for lost or stolen travel documents.
